Allegra Krieger was born in 1845 to two Selkies in the Atlantic Ocean. When occupying her human form, she resides in New York City, on the sixth floor of a hotel in east midtown. She writes songs, bad checks, love letters, and poorly formatted emails. She knows terrible things can be beautiful, too. The TV in her room has been playing QVC at a low volume for 13 years straight. She drinks a lukewarm beer, on blue cotton sheets while watching three woman hawk a tropical blouson sleeve top, for 4 easy payments of 15.99. How remarkably human!
